- Prolonged exposure to high heat can slightly raise core body temperature, which in early pregnancy (even before you know you’re pregnant) may slightly increase the risk of neural tube defects or interfere with implantation.
- Lukewarm or mildly warm baths (comfortable but not hot to the touch) are perfectly safe for both partners.
- Keep water temperature below 100°F (37.8°C)
